After adopting the rescue pup, Coco, from the Carrollton Animal Shelter, Danny knew he wanted a way to give back and support shelter animals across DFW and beyond. Coco’s Beans was born in 2020, combining a deep love for animals with an equally strong passion for exceptional coffee and tea. A portion of every single purchase goes directly to shelter partners to help supply food, toys, and essential medical care to animals waiting for their forever homes.
We also love honoring the incredible two-legged and four-legged family members who make our world brighter. What started as a tribute to family, like Pop’s Italian Roast in honor of Danny’s grandfather, has grown right alongside our big, animal loving clan. Today, nearly every blend in our lineup is named for a beloved character in our lives: from Kelsey's sweet pup Cowboy and charming cat Kida, to high-energy rescues, quirky personalities like Pug, Duke, Gus Gus, and Max, and all the furry companions our founder Danny spoils at home. Every single pet, past and present, gives our roasts/teas their heart and reminds us why we’re on this mission.
In 2026, Coco’s Beans officially expanded into an uncle and niece partnership, uniting two generations with a shared goal: roasting great coffee and saving shelter animals. Welcome to the family!
